I just asked Fred about this and he said that Cedar Summit was definitely on the east side of the road - and J.M. Gilbert homesteaded his property across on the west side of the road. Hilga  Patterson and Sylvia Foote parents the Frokes lived about 1 1/2 miles south of Cedar Summit school.  He says there was no school west of Busby, but there was a school 1 1/2 or 2 miles east of Busby on the north side of the road, but he can't remember the name of that school, but one of his high school graduating classmates and her brother went to school there. 
There was Cedar Summit to the north --- Busby School - and Hartford School to the south and the one to the east of Busby.  The only one he could think of west would have been the school at Cave Springs and that was west to the Hanway corner and then north.
