OLD GRANNY I can see you as being the type that would put loads in someone's cigarettes.

Frank,

It could happen!  Love a good joke!  Especially on someone else!  Plenty of different people taught me the importance of humor.

Now what is this OLD STUFF AGAIN.  Get it right OLE OLE OLE OLE- okay?

Alice, you come from good fun loving people, your dad and mom both always had a smile and a great greeting, I think it rubbed off on you. Jerry was the same way, I always liked having a good visit with him.

I well remember Pat and Bob's cafe on 96 Highway.  Teresa and Sherri,  do you remember when we lived in Pittsburg and  would go to Grandma and Grandpa Workman's home when they lived in Leon...and we would stop at Pat's cafe and her hamburgers were 5 for $1.00 and your Daddy would get five and have you girls burgers  put on bread, because the buns had sugar in them?
Then in later years, after Bob passed away,  Pat married Lyle Graham and they had the Ponderosa Cafe and Motel on the west side of the junction of 99 and 96
That man could cook --- we went there a lot to eat on Saturday nights.  The best steaks ever !!!
IT'S NOT WHAT YOU GATHER, BUT WHAT YOU SCATTER....
THAT TELLS WHAT KIND OF LIFE YOU HAVE LIVED!

Teresa

Yes I do remember... :) I didn't know that hamburgers were 5 for a buck.. but I remember both places.
