Enjoy!

With this being the winter season, it is important to take extra precautions to insure the safety of you, your passengers and others on the road.  While it may seem like a waste of time, these steps will actually save time in even the worst driving conditions.

1.  Do not scrape ice and snow off your windshield or outside mirrors.  Other motorists and outside conditions will only distract you.  Besides, being able to see what's going on will scare you to death and impair your driving.

2.  Never use directional signals. When you're skidding all over the roadway it's impossible to tell which direction you'll end up going, so don't confuse other motorists by trying to guess.

3.  Drive as fast as possible at all times.  This will decrease your chances of an accident by minimizing the amount of time you are on the road.  You will also protect yourself from other motorists because it's harder to hit a moving target.

4.  Maintain minimal distance between you and the car in front of you.  If the motorist ahead of you is able to avoid an accident, chances are that you will, too.   If not, and you collide with the vehicle in front of you, remember that broken glass and leaking antifreeze will improve the driving conditions more than salt or gravel.
