This is something that I think everyone will throughly enjoy having, if they send and forward e-mails..

What it does is "clean Up' the e-mails that you want to forward to friends.
Takes out all those horrible and pesky <<<>>> in front of the words.

It is called emailStripper..and when you use it, it will show up at the end of your e-mail saying this:

This email was cleaned by emailStripper, available for free from:  http://www.papercut.biz/emailStripper.htm

download it and your e-mail friends will love you forever for it.. :)

You simply take the "dirty e-mail" ..and highlight and copy

then you bring up emailstripper  and you will see       paste      strip it     copy

Hit paste ( that will paste the dirty e-mail in there)

then strip it ( that will strip it and make it clean)

then copy...

Then you open up a new  empty e-mail  and copy it in.

done and ready to send.   ;)

I've used it for several years now and really like it.

I used to get tons of cluttered emails, now I get much less and I like to pretend it is because I've trained my family & friends to 'clean up' stuff before they send it out.  HA!  I live in my own fantasy world, you're all welcome to join me! ;D

I live in mine too, Joanna---but I think we could co-habitat, don't you?   lol

I use this also, and have an icon on my desktop - and before I open my inbox, I bring e-mail stripper up and leave it on my task bar, then it is ready when I need it.
I'll tell you a "funny".  We have some dear, dear friends in Minnesota, but seems they NEVER clean up their forwards, and two years ago when we were there, this one guy said, "Jo, did you get the last e-mail joke that I sent you"?  I said, that I probably had, but I didn't open very many of his forwards, because I had to open so many attachments, and then when I did get to the original it was covered with those pesky little <> so usually I just deleted them from my incoming mail.  Wellllllll let me tell you, he was upset, I apologized and told him about e-mail stripper and sent it to him with instructions on how to use it, assuring him that he would LOVE it.
To this day, I have not received not even one e mail from him., and probably never will  hahahahaha
We chat all the time on MSN, but he told me to go fly a kite -- he would never send me another forward, and by golly, he hasn't.

His loss, Jo, his loss. ;)

I've also worked on the "include every address" factor in the forwards.
I do NOT want everyone else's e-mail address, nor do I want everyone to have mine.  ::)

Unless it is sent to only our immediate family - I always use BCC  I shiver every time I get a forward with all the previous forwards still on there and every other person in fifty states names and addresses -----eeekkkkk  just think of all the virus that you are exposed to.

clean it up is important and so is "reply all" - let me tell you - I was conversing via e-mail with the president of our senior class, as our 50th is upcoming.  We all know his sexual orientation, but that's his busiiness.  TILL I opened my e-mail one day and got this frontal picture of some guy I never heard of asking a very personal question.  I was first dumb founded then furious and checked and tried to figure out how and why I had gotten this.  My classmate was listed as a receiver also. Ah Ha !  How this jerk got my e-mail address, I do not understand, but know how he got it.  He promised it would never happen again and it hasn't, but my gosh, once was enough.  Yes, I deleted the picture. :-\
MY GOAL IS TO LIVE FOREVER. SO FAR, SO GOOD !
