Ramsey family

Here's a request for information on a Ramsey family in early Elk County.  Anyone familiar with these names?

Please look for these names and dates:  Searching for any information on
the following family:
John Nathan RAMSEY, b. 1831, IN, d. 1878, Howard city, Elk Co., KS; and
his wife, Lititia RAMSEY, b. 1829, IN or TN; d. after 1880, perhaps in
Kearny Co, KS, as she is found there on the 1880 census.

Other helpful information: This family arrived in Elk Co., KS soon after
the 1870 census.  The father, John Nathan (may have also gone by the name
of Nathan Ramsey) died there in 1878.  The mother, Lititia (Palmer)
Ramsey, b. 1829, is found on the 1880 Kearny, KS census with sons,
William and John Franklin, also known as Frank.
