             Fishing
            Fishing is very relaxing
Its even better when the fish are attacking
Its not a sport and its not a game
Its fun & adventure all the same
I grew up fishing with my dad
We allways used worms or shad
Sometimes they would strike and give a fight
Other times we wouldn't even get a bite
Dad my brother and me see eye to eye
When it comes to fishin that aint no lie
I try to do my best and be quiet
Dad says patience works just try it
So i do and it seems to pay off
But when it starts to get good i scare them with a cough
Like everyone else i will one day pass
you will know where to find me, alone by a pond in the grass

This poem was written by our Cotton Johnson who is a member of this forum.  He wrote this last year and I think he did a really good job.  Please read it.  I think he was too shy to put it on the forum, so his mama sheriff did it for him.  love ya, Cotton.
