MOLINE- Clark, John F., 89, died August 2, 2007.  Service 11 a.m.Tuesday with visitation 1 hour prior, Moline United Methodist Church.  Survivors: daughter, Marsha Allen of Caney, KS; grandchildren, Michael Allen & Sharawn Rose; great granddaughter, Kayla Rose.  Zimmerman Funeral Home, Howard.

John F. Clark, 89, of Moline, died Thursday at Sedan City Hospital.

Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Moline United Methodist Church, with visitation one hour prior to service time.  Burial will be in Moline Cemetery, under the direction of Zimmerman Funeral Home.

Memorials are suggested to the Moline United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society, and they may be sent to Countryside Funeral Home, P.O. Box 247, Fredonia, KS .

Mr. Clark was born Nov. 5, 1917 in Bartlesville, Okla., to John N. and Lou (Lyon) Clark.  He worked as a farmer and ranceher all his life. 

Mr. Clark was active in the Moline United Methodist Church where he served as chairman of the board for many years.  He was a county committeeman for the ASC office in Elk County.

He married Loretta M. Hopper, and she died in 1972.

Survivors include a daughter, Marsha Allen, Caney; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

John F. Clark, 89, Moline passed away on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2007 at the Sedan City Hospital.  John was born on November 5, 1917 in Bartlesville, Okla. to John N. and Lou Frances (Lyon) Clark.  John worked as a farmer and rancher all of his life.

John was very active with the Moline United Methodist Church where he served as the chairman of the board for many years.  He also was a county committeeman for the ASC office of Elk County.  In his spare time he loved to square dance.

John was married to Loretta M. Hopper and she passed away May 2, 1972.

John is survived by one daughter, Marsha Allen of Caney; two grandchildren, Michael Allen and Sharawn Rose; one great granddaughter, Kayla Rose.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7 with visitation one hour prior to the service at the Moline United Methodist Church.  Interment was at the Moline City Cemetery.  Contributions are suggested to the Moline United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society and may be left in care of Countryside Funeral Home, P.O. Box 247, Fredonia, KS 67349.  Arrangements are under the direction of Zimmerman Funeral Home, Howard.
