Nancie Jane Foust, age 98, formally of Molilne, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2007 at Twilight Manor in Howard.  Nancie was born on April 27, 1909 in Silverton, Texas to William and Rebecca Sharp Shaw.

On Feb. 24, 1926 Nancie married her lifetime friend and love Charles Marlon Foust in Howard.  Nancie and Marlon would live in various states over the next 45 years, wherever he was called to minister.  nancie was a homemaker and a mamber of various church groups.  She loved to sew and make handcrafts.  She also really enjoyed her houseplants and flowers.

Nancie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Marlon on Dec. 2, 1986.  She is survived by one son Winerford "Frosty" Foust of Port Ludlow, Wash., three daughters; Reta Thompson of Sherman, Texas, LuAlice Dominick of Carlsbad, Calif., and Marlene Foust of Chandler, Texas, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and very dear friend Lenora Dembeck.

Graveside funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at the Moline Cemetery.  Contributions are suggested to the Pension Fund of the Christian Church and may be left in care of Countryside Funeral Home, P.O. Box 247, Fredonia, KS 67349.  Arrangements are under the direction of Zimmerman Funeral Home, Howard.
