German student

A friend of Marty's in Fredonia is looking to find a home to place a German foreign exchange student this year.  If anyone is interested, please call Michelle Reed at 620-378-3000.

I've been told that he speaks very good English, he likes hunting and football, and he will be 16 by the time he arrives on August 3.

The program pays their school & spending money, the host family provides room & board.

If any of you may be interested, or know someone in the area who might, please do call Michelle.  They are getting close to their deadline.  I have several friends that have had exchange students.  Most of them say it is very rewarding and most volunteer to do it again, so it must be a positive experience for the family as well as the student.  We'll probably check into it in a year or two when our repairs & remodelling are further along.
