Once you get used to recycling, it becomes part of "what you do!"

Ok Bonnie, I have to ask a question. You know my mind has problems.....YEP.......I am getting an OLD brain...........with the plastics.........does that include yoghurt containers.
I just started eating them find they aren't so bad and just hate to throw the cups in the trash......do they recycle?
Good work my friend........knew you were going to start posting sooner or later......Hugs and God Bless
Today, I want to make a difference.
Here I am Lord, use me!

THIS IS WHAT I FOUND:

Can I recycle yogurt containers and dairy/deli tubs?
A. Yes, but only if they have a #2 or #5 on the bottom and only at certain recycling centers.  Yogurt containers (and other dairy/deli tubs numbered 2 or 5, such as those used for margarine, cottage cheese, or sour cream) CANNOT be recycled through every center.  Please remove and throw away lids.

There is a very limited market for this type of plastic.  To help reduce waste, buy yogurt in large containers and use Tupperware for small, portable servings.

SO, THAT'S (SORT OF) THE ANSWER!
Bonnie
