   Miss Irma Marie Carson and Mr. Merrit Shipman both of Howard were married June 6, 1935, at Howard, Kansas, Judge Gibbons officating.  Mrs. Fred Rosenberg gave a wedding dinner in honor of the bride and groom.  Guests were, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Carson, Juanita and Nadine, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Shipman, Millard, Minnie, Mary Wilma and Marinia, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Snyder and Garlene, Mrs. Fred Rosenberg, Arlene and Betty Marie.
   The best wishes of the home community are extended to this happy young couple for a long and successful life.  Mr. and Mrs. Shipman will make their home with Mrs. Fred Rosenberg for the present.
