Welcome, Rudy. We are glad that you are here and I hope you got the pictures I sent you from the Zimmerman Funeral Home Fire. If you read the posts you will see that Lloyd came through a surgery today and hopefully his son, Charlie, will update us when he gets a minute.

What a nice welcome everyone gave. I'll look forward to peeking in here each evening. And thank you Janet for the photos. We're having to rely totally upon the internet to publish this week's newspaper. We're doing the same with other papers in Montgomery, Chautauqua and Labette counties that we can't reach by car for a while.

You betcha we like newspaper men( or women) in here.

Pull up a chair.. prop your feet by the old pot belly stove and sit and relax a bit.
But remember.. you have to tell a windy story once and awhile..
