from THE MOLINE ADVANCE  April 16, 1909

On Easter Sunday at high noon at the home of the brides uncle Mr. H. R. Ellsworth, Miss Grace A. Lamb was united in marriage to Mr. William Horton McNeal of Ardmore Okla.  Before the ceremony Mrs. Geo H. Turner played Annie Laurie, by Ryder.  At noon sharp Rev Ananias Cullison followed by the bridal party descended the stairs taking their places and the marriage ceremony according to the rites of the Episcopal Church was performed.  Mrs Turner played the Bridal March from Lohengrin during the entire ceremony.

The bride was attired in a beautiful empire gown of white satin stripe meteor and carried Easter Lillies.  She made a very beautiful bride, being of the Gibson girl type and was exceptionally attractive in role of a young bride.  Grace has lived among our people for a number of years and was a social favorite with all our young people.  She will certainly be missed from among us and we know where ever her lot is cast among any people she will have a high social standing.

Mr. William Horton McNeal was attired in the conventional black.  Horton as a boy lived among us and Moline still claims him as one of her boys.  He has been through the school of law and is at present a young promising attorney of Ardmore Okla., and word comes to us that he is enjoying success along his line.

After the wedding a most inviting two course dinner was served.  Many beautiful presents were received consisting of china, cut-glass, silver, linen etc.  Present to witness the wedding were as follows: Mr and Mrs A J Lamb, Mr and Mrs H R Ellsworth, Mr and Mrs A Cullison, Mr and Mrs Geo Turner, Mr and Mrs L C Copeland, Mrs W H McNeal, Mrs Susie Cleveland, Miss Lily Hill, Miss Elsie Tilden.  Mr. and Mrs McNeal left for Grenola in an automobile to take the five o'clock train en route for a trip to Sulpher Springs and Oklahoma City before returning to Ardmore where after April 15 they will be at home at No 219 7th avenue.
