Oh, oh, it looks like either AT&T didn't do their job or the gossip machine is working overtime. The Queen was unable to return to us this evening.

???

;D

As you probably have seen on other threads, we did get the package from AT&T and the queen was online by 4PM yesterday. She has some catching up to do work wise, but I do believe she is about to get to  altitude and cruising speed.

And I got all my stuff done at 1AM last night. And today is a start of another week preparing for broadcasting next Wednesday.

Yup, and it's nice to have her back, but don't tell her that. I wouldn't want to be responsible for swelling her head all up. So does that mean that Kjell gets some rest tonight, or is it back to burning the midnight oil again?

Good afternoon forum! I haven't logged onto the website in what seems like ages! Between haying, taking Lane to daycare, studying, working, mowing the yard, the fair, and cleaning house, I haven't had a moment to myself! I hope all is well with everyone, and I see that the forum has grown. It is crazy to me that summer is drawing to an end. My sisters (who also happen to be my best friends) will be leaving for college in 2 short weeks. I will miss them terribly. The fair has came and gone. I took an apron that I made out of an old pair of jeans and received second place on it. It was just too hot that weekend to hang around. This weekend we will go to Piedmont to the rodeo, and I believe fireworks. I haven't decided if I'm going to run barrels or not. We've been so busy with hay, I'm worn out at the end of the day. I rake and Billy bales. We're a team. It's almost cute, but it's hot. He sits in the big tractor with the radio and air conditioning, and I'm in the tractor with no cab and no radio. Now shouldn't that be the other way around? I'm just kidding, I love it and wouldn't have it any other way. Our hay crop is very good this year. On a field in which we had only 9 bales last year, we had 32 this year! Isn't that amazing?! Well, it seems as if it's time to start on dinner already. Good evening to all!

Well, I got a couple of more hours of work to do (4:43PM now) and then I believe I will take the rest of the day off. I shouldn't since I have a half finished marketing plan on my desk that I promised to deliver by lunch time tomorrow. Then again, my brain needs some rest.

I hope that you can wrap it up quickly and get some relaxation. Even when you are doing things as fun as you guys are, those long days get old.

I agree that it's nice to see the prairie hay meadows so heavy with bales. What a turnaround from the past few years. Maybe you farmers can sell your hay to out-of-staters --- not everybody is having such a lush summer.  Don't you know the bales will look beautiful in the autumn?

And by the way, will you get two cuttings this year?
It truly is "a wonderful life."

Good morning everyone!  :)
Nothing like grandchildren to start your day with a smile.. :)

The sun is out and the mosquitoes are awake and hungry.
Yowwwzer  :o.. I went out to feed the cats this morning, and the and things were like flying cannibals on the hunt!
I hate 'em.. and one bit me on the toes before I could get back inside.
But other than that.. I am having a good morning.
Derek is down in the back and so I will work on him in a bit.. Mason is fed and down for his nap..( wish I could go crawl back in bed with him...buuuutttttt.. I can't .. so forget that) and I have to start a pretty large project , so I won't be real chatty on the forum for a few days.
This weekend is going to be devoted to finishing up my porch railing painting at Mark's.. Clean up time at the farm (lake) and Kjell is going to try to get in some shooting and filming. Hopefully I will be able  to get in on that too..  ;)
Busy wkend.. and believe me, I will have my vanilla and or lavender oil.. you can count on that!
Have a terrific day folks!  :)

They are adorable, Flo --- but you know, I think all children are God's gift to us and how sad that so many that are given this gift abuse them.   This just breaks my heart !!!
