I talked to Jim Smith this evening and Barbara is off the life support and is stabilized now.  She still has to have a defibrillator put in and then go through rehab.

That sounds more positive. Thanks for posting that update!

That's good to hear. The internal defibs. are literal life savers and are simply amazing! I have two friends, both younger than I (gulp) who have them and are totally normal. Both had very close calls and would have died 25 years ago.

Dee Gee, how is Barbara doing now? I was just thinking about her.

That sounds delicious Diane.  Where are my red shoes when I need them??  ;) ;)

Ms Bear

Diane, that sounds really good but I just ate a large deep fried stuffed Avocado.  So good but I ate to much and still brought some home for lunch tomorrow.

Well now, the Shrimp Creole was perfect if I do say so myself. Sorry the red shoes weren't available. (But then again nobody sent flying monkeys here either, thank goodness.) I want to hear about Ms. B's avocado.  I have never heard of a stuffed deep fried one before. Is that a local thing? I love avocado but I'm not sure how you deep fry one. G.G., I'd have you all here in a heart beat if I could figure out how.

I clicked the dang shoes till the red sparkly stuff came off.. and still I couldn't get the shoes or the broom to kick start enough..so didn't get there for S Creole..  >:(
