Howard Courant
September 9, 1920

Two of Elk county's popular young folks were united in marriage last Sunday morning at 8 o'clock, when Rev. N. A. Peck of the Presbyterian church of Howard performed the ceremony which made Mr. Caleb G. Foster of Longton, and Miss Edith Price of this city, husband and wife.  The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's aunt, Mrs. W. B. Russell in the presence of only a few relatives.

Mrs. Foster has made her home in Howard for several years and is well and favorably known by Howard folks.  She is a daughter of William T. Price, a former citizen of Howard, now living at Houston, Tex.  She is a graduate of the Howard H. S. and has taught schools in this neighborhood and last winter was engaged at Holly, Colo.  Mr. Foster is known to a great many of the people of this vicinity.  He has been a teacher in the Longton school and is at present employed by one of the larger oil companies with headquarters at Skiatook, Okla.  After a four course wedding breakfast the bride and groom left for their home at Skiatook, where they will make their home this year.
