Howard Cuorant
October 14, 1920

A very simple little wedding occured at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Dowler, northwest of Howard, on the evening of October 5, when their daughter Olive Alberta was married to Clarence Francis Craig of the same vicinity.  Only immediate relatives were present.  Rev. O. Duby, pastor of the M. E. Church at Piedmont performed the ceremony.

The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dowler, and a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Bascom of this city.  She attended the local High school and graduated with honors.  She is a refined, lovable young lady with a world of friends who will wish her all the joy in the world.

Mr. Craig is one of the county's best young farmers.  He was in the Navy during the World War and has always been a clean, gentlemanly young man.

The happy couple left the following morning for various points in Colorado where they will visit with friends and relatives of the bride.

They will be at home on their farm northwest of Howard after November 1st.
