Golden Wedding Anniversary at Denton Home

Don & I are wondering just how much the home and gardens may have changed over the last 50-75 years. I doubt if the shrubbery was there a number of years ago.

I was amazed at how little the grounds had changed since I had been there over 20 years ago.  There is a very nice Gazebo in the garden and family lore has it that Great Grandmother Denton (Myrtle) hired the Japanese Gardener from the Marland Mansion in Ponca City to either design the garden or to work in it.

Of couse it does not take long for weeds and brush to overtake our yards.
