Curb your politician.  We have leash laws you know.

I have tried Krispy Cremes and they are good, but I like daylight donuts, too.  I just don't think I want to travel to Wichita to get a Krispy Creme when I can get fresh donuts right here in Howard.

I for one do not like Krispy Kremes.  Daylight Donuts are much better and Lamars are the very best.

I didn't know there was a "bad" donut!  :D  :D  :D

The apple fritters are so small......You can only feed 4 or 5 people with one..  Come on can't we get a nice sized donut........And where is the milk.....You can't have donuts with out coffee or if you are a little young to have coffee in the morning a jug of milk sure hits the spot.

How about a fajita wrapped breakfast entre......Spicey grilled steak, eggs, peppers, cheese, to die for.......

Turkey stuffed donuts for the holidays.

My name is Debi Arreola and I am not from around here.    I am from Wichita, but have lived in Emporia the last 20 years.  My last job was as a supervisor at Hopkins Manufacturing for 16 years.  I have 4 grown children and 1 Grandson.  My husband Tony works as a lead man and rig operator for a pulling unit out of Emporia.

Labor Day weekend I was here in town visiting my very good friend Connie Avalos....  Connie was driving me around, showing me town when she stopped in front of a vacant donut shop.   It just happened that Rob Cookson was driving by just as we were looking in the windows.  Rob showed us the donut shop and Connie nudged me.  Well,,, I can't tell you why, but "something"  just told me to come here to Howard.   I decided very quickly that I was just going to have faith in myself... I gave my 2 week notice at my job...  I can't explain it.   I needed a life change and here I am.
I am looking forward to getting to know people and making new friends.  I have enjoyed the company of visitors to the shop so far and am excited to get to know you all.  Feel free to invite me to supper or something.  Just kidding, I am in bed before most of you all have supper.   ;)

Wow, what a brave thing to do.  I wish you all the best.  If I lived Howard, I would probably be hanging out at your business a lot of the time.  One of these days when I am traveling through I will be sure to drop in for a bite.  Good Luck.

All of the people in town are so nice to me and it is a wonderful feeling to be welcomed.

BTW, I really was kidding about being invited to supper.   ;D
