Global Warming?

Today is April 14, 2007.  There is snow on the ground and more coming.  Wichita says this is a record date for late snowfall.  Mr. Al Gore is screaming "Global warming".  Where is it?

I am wondering that myself I can remember back in the 70's when they were trying to scare us with warnings about a new ice age coming.

On my past calendars, yesterday was always the day I would travel to the Eureka greenhouse and purchase my first "haul" of new flowers/plants/vegetables for my garden.   By the next day, I would already have them in the ground and ready to get more. And  when I would get to the greenhouse, there would be a flurry of excitement because it was always the Eureka high school's prom and kids were coming in to pick up their corsages.    As I look outside, it couldn't be further from my mind or desire.  I hope those Eureka prom goers kept warm and dry.  Sure doesn't seem like any of the springs I have ever experienced before.
