Clevenger, Ralph Eldon, 72, retired City of Wichita equipment operator, died Tuesday, April 15, 2003.  Service 10 a.m., Saturday, Resthaven Mortuary.  Graveside service 2 p.m., Saturday, Grace Lawn Cemetery, Howard.  He was a life member of V. F.W., NRA and a member of Derby Masonic Lodge No 365.  Preceded in death by: parents, Ralph and Mayme Clevenger; brothers, Virgil, Sam, and Melvin Clevenger; sister, Gwendolyn Clevenger. 

Survivors: wife, Joanne; sister, Aubine Drake of Wichita; nieces and nephews, Connie Elliott, Sandra John, Sam Clevenger, Jr., Lyn Clevenger and Steve Drake; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.  Memorial established with Lake Havasu Rehabilitation Center, 101 Civic Center Lane, Lake Havasu City, AZ  86403.  Tax no. for donation: 621735358.

Note:  Eldon was born at Bucklin, Kansas, and grew up in that area.  In 1955, he married JoAnne Crismas in Wichita, Kansas.  Eldon spent quite a bit of time around Howard, and was known by numerous residents.
