Richard Marcic, age 82, of Great Bend, Kansas and formerly of Howard, Kansas, passed away October 2, 2024.

Richard was a United States Navy veteran as well as a member of Hope Masonic Lodge #155.  He worked for McDonalds for 14 years before working and retiring from Boeing.

Richard is survived by his son, Scott (Sherry) Marcic of Great Bend, Kansas; his daughter, Stacey Brotherton; his grandchildren, Ethan and Leah Marcic of Great Bend, Kansas; his sister, Betty of Pennsylvania; and his brothers, Don of Ohio and Mel of Michigan.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Marcis; his wife, Vickie Marcic; his sister, Dolly; and his brothers, Leonard and Ken.

Services are in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary, East Chapel, in Wichita, Kansas.  A graveside service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, 1806 N. Oliver, Wichita, Kansas on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.   Share tributes online at www.dlwichita.com.
