Freeda J.W. Paasch, daughter of Alfred and Ora Paasch, passed away on June 1, 2024 at her residence in Bartlesville, Oklahoma with most of her family by her side.  She was born in Knowles, Oklahoma on November 28, 1944.

Freeda moved with her family to Grenola, Kansas in 1955 where she graduated from Grenola High School in 1962.  She attended nurse's training where she graduated at the head of her class, and she obtained her LPN certification.  Later, she moved to Athens, Georgia with her son, Terry, where she continued to attend college.  After the death of her son, she moved to Bartlesville.

Freeda is survived by her sisters, Peggy Sugg of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Betty Nehring of Caney, Kansas, and Mary (Jack) Kegley of Sedan, Kansas as well as a number of nieces and nephews and their families.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Waunita Lynn; her son, Terry Don; her parents, Alfred and Ora Paasch; and her brothers, Gary Leon Paasch and Joe Paasch.

Cremation has been effected.  Graveside service will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery in Grenola, Kansas on Monday, July 1, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Green Lawn Cemetery maintenance.
