Karen Sue Dahl, age 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 23, 2024.  She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Clyde Leslie and Betty Louise (Edwards) Robinson.

She was married to Darrell David "Dave" Dahl.  They raised their children in Valley Center, Kansas where they lived for many years.  They moved to Howard, Kansas where Karen opened her own hair salon and cut hair for many years.  She was known for her beautiful quilting abilities and her amazing culinary skills. She hosted some of the best dinners.  Karen was an active member of the Independent Baptist Church in Howard where she loved to play the piano every Sunday.  She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, faith, and kindness will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Karen is survived by her sons, Darin (Julie) Dahl of Towanda, Kansas and Tim (Emma Tull) Dahl of Valley Center, Kansas; daughters, Amy (Shane) Milligan of Norman, Oklahoma and Beth Jolly of Maize, Kansas; 6 grandchildren; many great-grandkids; sister, Sheri (Terry) McMillen; and numerous other family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Dave Dahl; her father and mother; her sons, infant Brian Dahl and Mike Dahl; and her grandson, Chase Stuckey.

Graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Hillside Cemetery, W. 125th North, Sedgwick, Kansas 67135.  A memorial has been established to the Greenwood County Hospital Foundation.  Contributions may be sent online at www.gwch.org/donate-online or by mail to Greenwood County Hospital Foundation, Inc., Greenwood County Hospital, 100 W. 16th,  Eureka, Kansas 67045.  Baker Funeral Home of Valley Center, Kansas has been entrusted with arrangements.
