Kevin Daniel Pinkerton of Piedmont, Kansas passed away on February 9, 2024 at his home at the age of 65.  He was born April 8, 1958 in El Dorado, Kansas, the son of Billie Daniel and Bonnie Louise (Williams) Pinkerton.

Kevin was raised in El Dorado, Kansas and graduated from the local schools there.  He worked for the City of El Dorado Streets Department and also sometimes worked in the oilfields.

Kevin is survived by six siblings, Raymond Pinkerton of Andover, Kansas, Gordon Pinkerton of Leon, Kansas, Karla Messer of Columbus, Kansas, Eric Pinkerton of Caney, Kansas, Vicki Pinkerton of Springfield, Missouri, and Marla Letterman of El Dorado, Kansas.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Lois Ann Pinkerton; and two siblings, Brian Pinkerton and Leslie Tallman.

Cremation has been effected.  Family services will be held at a later date with burial to take place at Sunset Lawns Cemetery in El Dorado, Kansas.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Heart Association.  Contributions can be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O.
