Jamie JoAnn Newman, age 47, of Moline, Kansas, passed away on August 26, 2023 in Inola, Oklahoma.  She was born May 12, 1976 in Winfield, Kasnas to James and Bonnie "Kathy" (Baker) Newman.

At an early age, Jamie went to live at New Beginnings in Moline, Kansas where she made lots of friends and enjoyed the many activities they were involved with.

Jamie is survived by her mother, Kathy Newman, of Severy, Kansas; her sister, Cheri Newman of Severy, Kansas; and uncles, Mike (Katherine) Newman and Jerry (Dyane) Newman along with many cousins.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the Moline City Cemetery in Moline, Kansas..  Memorial contributions can be made to the Chautauqua Animal Shelter and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.  Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas 67349 has been entrusted with arrangements.
