Permelia R. "Pam" Sharp, age 82, passed away August 5, 2023.  She was born on March 18, 1941, the daughter of Millard and Lora Marie Shipman.

Pam grew up in Howard, Kansas and graduated from Howard High School with the Class of 1959.  She loved traveling, painting, gardening, supporting her sports teams (the Jayhawks, Wildcats, Chiefs, Royals, and Celtics) and cheering on her grandkids in all of their activities.  She also had a passion for serving in church-related ministries and functions.  She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Martin Sharp; sons, Bret Martin (Angela) Sharp and Chad Everett Sharp; her brother, Ronnie (Connie) Shipman; her sister-in-law, Dorothy Shipman; her grandchildren, Tyler Louis Sharp, Paige Elizabeth Sharp, Taylor Ruth (Mitchell) Schurig, and Levi Nicholas Sharp; and one great-grandchild on the way.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Lora Marie Shipman and her brother, Gale Michael Shipman.

A Celebration of Life service was held on August 11, 2023 at Chapel Hill United Methodist Church in Wichita, Kansas with graveside committal service following at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Howard, Kansas.  To share a message for the family, go to www.cozine.com.  Services were entrusted to Broadway Mortuary of Wichita, Kansas.
