Patricia Jane "Pat" Corle of Howard, Kansas, passed away on May 19, 2023 at Greenwood County Hospital in Eureka, Kansas at the age of 82.  She was born on December 22, 1940 at the Claremore Indian Hospital in Claremore, Oklahoma to Joseph P. and Lucille V. (Ensley) Boulanger.

Pat was proud of her Osage heritage and was part of the White Hair Band.  She was united in marriage to Joseph R. "Joe" Corle at the Longton United Methodist Church in Longton, Kansas on July 4, 1958.  To this union, two daughters were born, Barbara J. on April 9, 1968 and Susan J. on September 11, 1970.  Pat and Joe were married for 60 years before Joe passed away on July 19, 2018.  After they were married, Pat and Joe moved to Idaho and worked in the potato fields for a few years before they moved back to live in Moline, Kanas.

Pat had been baptized and was a member of the Elk Falls United Methodist Church in Elk Falls, Kasnas.  She had many hobbies which included reading, crocheting, listening to classic country musi8c, attendng concerts, and traveling with her best friend, Judy Nungesser.  Pat also enjoyed playing cards with friends and family and making bread to give away to friends and neighbors.  Pat was very proud of her grandchidlren and enjoyed telling others about their accomplishments.

Through the years, Pat worked many jobs.  She worked at Fred's IGA in Moline, at the Howard Currect-Citizen newspaper as a typesetter, and as a dispatcher for the Elk County Sheriff's Office.  She stayed busy in her spare time working as the site manager for Friendship Meals in Moline, Kansas.

Pat is survived by her daughters, Barbara Corle of Howard, Kansas and Susan (Tolbert) Livingston of Emporia, Kansas; three grandchildren, Aquisha, Malik and wife, Adrien, and Myles; and one brother, Philip Boulanger of Brunswick Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Lucille Boulanger; her husband, Joe Corle; and three siblings, Wayne Boulanger, Evelyn Laurie, and Edward Boulanger.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023 at the Elk Falls United Methodist Church in Elk Falls, Kansas with Pastor Dena Allison officiating.  Cremation has been effected.  A private family inurnment will take place at a later date at the Moline Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Elk Falls United Methodist Church.  Contributions may be sent in care of Koup Family Funeral Home, P.O.
