Doris Lucile McClure, age 96, of Caney, Kansas, passed away April 18, 2023 at her home in Caney, Kansas.  She was born November 28, 1926 in Cleveland, Oklahoma to Edward E. and Bessie C. (Ball) Gregor.

Doris graduated from Howard High School in Howard, Kansas in the Class of 1944.  On February 14, 1948, she married Arthur R. "Bud" McClure in El Dorado, Kasnas.  They opened up a farm dealership in Howard, Kansas, McClure Equipment Company.  In 1966, they relocated their home and business to Caney, Kansas.  Altogether, they operated their business for 54 years until they retired in 2007.  Bud preceded her in death on September 20, 2011.

Doris was a member of the Caney Christian Church and Order of the Easter Star.

Doris is survived by three sons, Michael (Jeanne) McClure of Cincinnati, Ohio, Charles (Roma) McClure of Caney, Kansas, and Guy McClure and girlfriend, Wanda Miller of Caney, Kansas; 5 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one son, Floyd; two sisters; one niece; and one nephew.
