Rudy Beck, age 77, retired millwright for Vulcan Chemical, passed away February 9, 2023.

Rudy is survived by his wife, Pansy of Wellington, Kasnas; his children, Jamie (Delbert) Waggoner of Ashland, Kasnas and Brian (Emily) Beck of Conway Springs, Kansas; his sister, Veda Kemper of McCook, Nebraska; and hs grandchildren, Sage and Mika Waggoner and Dakota, Brooke, and Joseph Beck.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mildred Beck and his siblings, Sharon Gibbs and Garen Beck.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary in Clearwater, Kansas with family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  Services will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Clearwater in Clearwater, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to the Kansas Honor Flight, P.O. Box 2371, Hutchinson, Kansas 67504.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Webb-Shinkle Mortuary, 200 S. Tracy, Clearwater, Kansas 67026.

Rudy and Pansy Beck are former residents of Howard, Kansas where they were active in the Howard United Methodist Church and the Carter-Rader American Legion Post and Auxiliary.
