Patricia Ann Cooley, age 50, of Longton, Kansas, passed away on December 19, 2022 at her home.  She was born on November 21, 1972 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the oldest of six children of Jerry and Dorothy "Ginger" (Edwards) Cooley.

The family made their home in Longton where Trish attended school.  She ended up earning her GED and continued her education receiving her CNA certificate.  She worked as a Certified Nurses Aide at Elk Manor in Moline, Kansas for many years.  She was a custodian and worked in the kitchen for
Elk Valley Schools in Longton, Kansas.  She proudly ran and operated Pee Wee's.  Most recently, she put her natural caring spirit back to work for the elderly and ones that just needed an extra hand up as a private homecare provider.  Trish always placed others' needs top priority before her own and never realized how selfless and good her heart truly was.

Trish met Monty Scott, and although things didn't work out between the couple, they were blessed with three daughters.  Through life's struggles, Trish raised her daughters the best she could.  She taught them the benefits of hard work, determination, love, and compassion, and they knew she woud always be there for them.  Trish loved her children, and if possible, she might have loved her grandchildren even more.  Spending time with her grands and the love of her life, Tom McRay, made her life complete.  She enjoyed her family and would literally do anything for them.

Trish will be missed by her love, Tom McRay; her daughters, Heaven Scott, Lacey Scott, and Zoey Scott; her mother, Ginger Cooley; her siblings, Jerrod "Boo" (Jenny) Cooley, Belinda (Justin) Corle, Timmy (Lora) Cooley, Gordy Cooley, and Charity (Paul) Bower; her grandchildren, Ollie, Roman, Quillan, Tucker, Ryot, Mila, Yeager, Odin, Raven, Maverick, and Robbie; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  She now rests with her dad, Jerry Cooley; and her grandson, Kaden Scott Coatney.

Honoring the wishes of Trish, cremation has taken place under the direction of David W. Barnes Funeral Home of Coffeyville, Kansas.  The family will hold a private inurnment at Elk Falls Cemetery in Elk Falls, Kasnas where she will be laid to rest next to her dad and grandson.  To share a memory or to leave a message of condolence, please visit www.dwbfh.com.  David W. Barnes Funeral Homke is honores to be entrusted with the arrangements.
