On August 25, 2022, Vicki Lou Burdett, loving wife and mother of two daughters, passed away at the age of 72.  She was born on August 22, 1950 in Wiofield, Kansas to Charles "Cob" and Terese "Terri" Miller.  She was raised in Howard, Kansas where she graduated from Howard High School with the Class of 1968.  She later went on to attend Pittsburg State University.

On August 16, 1968, she married the love of her life, Stanley Burdett.  She was 17 and he was 20, and they went on to enjoy a wonderful 54 years together.  In 1980, Vicki and Stan moved to Caldwell, Kansas which was their home for over 30 years and was where they raised their two daughtersl Nicole and Melissa.

With Vicki's love for children and having the patience of an angel, Vicki started a home day care.  You would often hear Vick referring to her babysitting kids as her "kiddos" long after thery graduated from school.  They were extremely special to her.  She eventually went on to become the high school secretary at Caldwell Public Schools where she developed and created so many wonderful friendships. 

Viock was an avid music lover, enjoying all genres of music and artists.  She had a beautiful voice herself, often singing at weddings and other events throughout her younger years.  She also loved her trips to the casino with Stan and friends.  The stories and memories from those special trips would always bring a smile to Vicki's face.

After retirement, Vicki and Stan moved to Norman, Oklahoma where they enjoyed the retired life and spending more time watching their grandchidlren in all their various sports and school activities. 

Vicki is survived by her husband, Stanley Burdett; her daughters, Nicole (Mike) Arnott and Melissa (Frankie) Parks; and her grandchildren, Cass Arnott, Dylan Arnott, Keeley Parks, Mikayla Parks, and Yasmine Parks.  She was preceded in death by her father, Charles "Cob" Miller and her mother, Terese "Terri"
