Joyce Alberta Williams, 83, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away on October 1, 2022 at William Newton Hospital in Winfield.  She was born on June 28, 1939 in Farmington, New Mexico to parents, Bill and Hattie Dowler.

Joyce's family moved to Severy, Kansas where she went to school until the 8th grade.  On November 5, 1955, Joyce married the love of her life, Donald Williams.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening, fishing, and hunting with her husband.  She was also a member of the Winfield VFW.

Joyce is survived by her chidlren, Don (Brenda) Williams, Danny Williams, and Tammy (Louie) Williams; grandchildren, Brandi O'Connor, Dustin Williams, Daisy Williams, Beau Williams, and Kayle VanVliet; and great-grandchildren, Cory, Kailey, Kinley, Lilly, and Deacon.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don; and two sisters, Olive Woods and Cleo Weyrauch.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cambridge Baptist Church in Cambridge, Kansas.  Memorial contributions for Joyce may be made to the American Cancer Society and may be left in care of Shelley Family Funeral Home, 803 Loomis Street, Winfield, Kansas 67156.  Flowers may be sent to the Cambridge Baptist Church.
