Newell "Newt" Jordan Sr.,  85, went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 19, 2022.  He was the son of Paul and Violet Fowler. 

Newell was a one-of-a-kind semi mechanic.  He enjoyed time with his wife and sports with his children.  He was a great husband, father, grandfather of 27, great-grandfather of 26 and one great-great-granddaughter.

Newell leaves behind his children, Paul (Liz) Jordan of Moline, Kansas, Brenda (Rick) Kistler of Towanda, Kansas, Newell Jr. (JoAnn) Jordan of Burden, Kansas, Sandra Peyton of Moline, Kansas, Carolyn (Michael) Ades of El Dorado, Kansas, and Letti Warren of El Dorado, Kansas; his brothers, Tom Jordan of West Virigina and Tony, Patrick, and E.R. Fowler of Elk City, Kansas; and his sister, Paula of Independence, Kansas.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Freda; his son, Mike; an infant daughter; his parents, Paul and Violet Fowler, and two infant great-grandchildren.

Per his wishes, cremation has been requested.  The family will hold a Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Moline Community Center in Moline, Kasnas.  Online condolences can be left at www.countrysidefh.com.  Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E.
