Moline Advance:  Mr. and Mrs. S. V. Jones announce the marriage of their daughter, Mabel Lois, to Mr. G. Dale Call, which took place Friday, June twenty-eighth, at 9:30 p.m. at Caney, Kansas, by Rev. J. B. Cooprider, former pastor of the M. E. church of Moline and friend of the young couple.

The marriage has been a secret from everyone except the immediate families of the bride and groom.

The bride has lived near or in Moline all her life.   She has a host of friends who love her for her charming personality and fine womanly traits of character.  She is a graduate of the Moline high school.  Took a teacher's training course at K.S. T.C., Pittsburg, Kansas.  For two years she successfully taught school in Elk County.  She has been assistant postmistress for four years, and has always been a favorite with the public.  She will retain her position in the postoffice.

The groom is a son of Mrs. G. L. Call, has spent most of his life in thie community.  He is well known and liked as a young man of sterling worth and high ability.  He is also a graduate of the Moline high school, attended Kansas State Agricultural College at Manhattan; studied electrical engineering two and one-half years, and was a member of the Alpha Sigma Pai fraternity; then employed with the Solvay Process Company as assistant electrician; and is now employed with the Kansas Gas and Electric Company.

This young couple have been sweethearts since childhood.

The happy couple left Sunday morning for a short honeymoon trip to Kansas City.

Their many friends are wishing them the very best of happiness which they so richly deserve.
