James A. Romans, 68, of Moline, Kansas, passed away on December 12, 2021 at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.  He was born on October 20, 1953 in Neodesha, Kansas to Betty and G. M. "Art" Romans.

James was raised in the Elk County, Kansas area and graduated from Moline High School in 1971.  After graduation, he joined the United States Army.  After serving his country, he made his home in various places in Kansas.  He moved to Moline, Kansas in 2020 to be with his mother.

James was a very active member of the Moline Christian Church.  His favorite hobby was motorcycles, and he was a member of the Tribe of Judah Motorcycle Riders.

James is survived by his mother, Betty Romans; three sons, James Lee Vogele, Joshua Allen Vogele, and Emanuel Romans; one daughter, Kacy Lin Romans; one brother, Jesse Romans; and numerous grandchildren and extended family members.  He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents; his brother, Jacky; and an infant son.
