Cynthia D. Weddle, age 87, paraprofessional for USD #266 in Maize, Kansas, passed away on September 22, 2021. She was the daughter of Ted and Eleanor (Bybee) Smart.  She was a former resident of Moline, Kansas.

Cynthia is survived by her husband, Marvin Weddle; her daughters, Dana (Ed) Gillespie of Wichita, Kansas, Stacie (Justin) Underwood of Tishomingo, Oklahoma, and Christie Weddle of Wichita, Kansas; 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Eleanor Smart.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with family present from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Shinkle Mortuary, 146 N. Lamar Avenue, Haysville, Kansas.  Services will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 1750 N. Tyler Road,  Wichita, Kansas.  A memorial has been established for Phoenix Home Care and Hospice, 3450 N. Rock Road, Building 200, Suite 213, Wichita, Kansas 67226.

Services have been entrusted to Shinkle Mortuary of Haysville, Kansas.
