Patsy Ann "Pat" Harding, age 80, passed away August 9, 2021 at the Courtyards of Lake Granbury in Granbury, Texas.  She was born in Stone County, Missouri on April 8, 1941 to Harold Wilson and Marie Gilmore. 

Pat graduated from Nixa High School in Nixa, Missouri in 1957.  She married Jim Harding, her middle-school sweetheart, in 1958 and gave birth to their only son, Rickey, in 1959.  They moved the family to Howard, Kansas in 1967, and together they ran Jim's Service gas station with Jim in the garage and Pat keeping the books and running the house.  In 1977,  Pat and Jim went on the road trucking for the next 20 years across the nation and into Canada.  Jim did the driving and Pat kept the books.  After Jim's passing in 2000, Pat worked at P&J's convenience store in Howard, Kansas until relocating to Texas in 2018.

Pat is survived by her son Rickey Lee (Gloria) Harding of Texas; granddaughters, Heather (Isaac) Bouchard of Colorado, Jillian Rangel of Texas, and Alexandria (Aaron) Barcuch of Texas; great-granddaughter, Isabell Rangel; great-grandson, Joaquin Escamilla of Texas; great-granddogger Roxy; and great-grandcat, Oban.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 41 years, Jim Harding.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas.  Interment will take place in McConnell Cemetery in Nixa, Missouri at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 20, 2021.  Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or Harry Hynes Hospice and may be left with or sent to Countryside Funeral Home which has been entrusted with arrangements.
