Beverly Ann O'Neal passed away July 23, 2021 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas.  She was born on January 24, 1939 in Fredonia, Kansas, the daughter of Hugh and Freda (Jacob) Harper.

Beverly was a graduate of Moline High School in Moline, Kansas.  On June 8, 1957, she married Leonard Lewis O'Neal.  They were married for 24 years until his death in 1981.  She was devoted to her family, never missing a chance to send a birthday card, go see a ball game, or spend time with family.  For most of her life, she was a homemaker raising her four daughters.  After babysitting for several years, she worked at Standard Motors until her retirement.

Beverly was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church in Longton, Kansas and The Order of the Eastern Star member since the late 70s.  She enjoyed spending time with her group of friends, exercising daily, and having a cup of coffee at the cafe in Longton.

Beverly ia survived by her daughters, Debbie (Brad) Kill of Longton, Kansas, Terri (Dave) Green of Neodesha, Kansas, Brenda (Dave) Lumm of Independence, Kansas, and Kim (John) Willard of Neodesha, Kansas;  her siblings, Mary (Harper) Osburn and Tom Harper, both of Bolivar, Missouri; her grandchildren, Benjamin (Serena) Kill, Prestyn Ball, Katrina (Jason) Kemper, Melissa Larsh, Lyndsey (Drew) Johnson, Brodie (Melissa) Larsh, Mandy (Damon) Wolfe, Erica (Jake) Horton, Garrett ( Brittany) Green, Madison (Mark) Hays, Allison (Perry) Daily, Lisa (Nathan) West, and Kasey (Jacob) Hunter; and numerous great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her siblings, Don Harper, Louise Thompson, Janet Hawkins, and Elnor Harper.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Longton, Kansas with funeral services immediately following at 11:00 a.m.  Memorial has been suggested for the United Methodist Church in Longton and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.  Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas 67349 has been entrusted with arrangements.
