Longton News:  William Beckner celebrated his 76th birthday anniversary Sunday, July 29, and Mrs. Beckner and the children made it a most enjoyable time by preparing a sumptuous repast in honor of the occasion at which were present: Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Beckner and children, Mr. and Mrs. M. D. Biggs and daughter, Joy, Mr. and Mrs. Geo Beckner and family, Mrs. J. R. Page, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Abbott and daughter, Dorothy Lee of Independence, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Potter and family and Clifford Reeves.
