Anita Moreno, 89 of Wichita, Kansas and formerly of Howard, Kansas, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2021.  She was born to Ysidro and Rosa Moreno on December 19, 1931 in Independence, Kansas. 

Anita graduated from Howard High School in 1950.  She retired from Howard Twilight Manor Nursing Home after 25 years of service and moved to Wichita to be close to family.

Anita is survived by her sister, Juanita Rogers; her nephew, Anthony (Sue) Terrell; her nieces, Nicole (Doug) Baird and Lesley Rogers; her great-nephews, Gabriel (Kyrstin) Terrell, Matt Terrell, and Tanner Thomas; and great-nieces, Tammy (David) Bowen, Lisa (Eric) Dillard, and Danielle Thomas.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Socorro Davis; her brother, Raymond Moreno; and her brother-in-law, Les Rogers. 

Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. and Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 5, 2021, both at All Saints Catholic Church, 3205 E. Grand Street, Wichita, Kansas.   Burial will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Moline, Kansas.  A memorial has been established to the Alzheimer's Association, 1820 E.
