Billy Herman "Bill" Wolfe, age 73, of Grenola, Kansas, passed away December 27, 2020 at Via Christi St. Joseph Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.  He was born September 7, 1947 in rural Grenola to Darrel Emerson "Jim" and Meda May (Wells) Wolfe.

Bill graduated from Grenola High School in 1967.  He loved playing football during his high school years.  On May 29, 1981, Bill married Susan Elsie Irene (Speer) Davis in the Grenola Christian Church.  They were married 23 years until her passing in 2005.

Growing up, Bill worked on the family farm and hauled hay in the summers.  He worked for the Holt Grain Company in Dexter, Kansas, Bliss Country Wide Trash, and for Mark Arbuckle with County Wide Refuse.  He liked fishing, deer hunting, riding his 4-wheeler, being with family, and visiting with friends.

Bill is survived by his children, Erika Valentine, Darel (Terry) Davis, and Jimmy Davis; five grandchildren, Levi Egbert, Sofia Davis, Isaac Davis, Alex Davis, and Garrett Davis; a great-granddaughter, Lily Egbert; his sisters, Bertha Reeves and Freda Daehnke; his brothers, David Wolfe and Jess (Peggy) Wolfe; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Susan; his sisters, Lela Bright and Lois Bell; his brothers-in-law, Wilber Bright, Carl Reeves, ad Dr. Sig Dehnke; and his sister-in-law, Judy Wolfe.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Grenola, Kansas.  Memorial contributsiona in Bill's name can be made to the Grenola Museum and can be mailed to or left with the funeral home.  Countryside Funeral Home, 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas 67349 was entrusted with arrangements
