Robert Dilli Jr. passed away on November 26, 2020 at the age of 77.  He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas to Robert "Bob" and Bertha "Leota" Dilli.

Robert grew up in Elk County, Kansas and graduated from Howard High School in Howard, Kansas in 1961.  He then attended Chanute Community College where he played basketball.  He worked at Cessna in Wichita, Kansas in Production Control for 29 years. Robert was an avid golfer, bowler, and BBQ smoker and enjoyed playing slow-pitch at Cessna.  He brightened a lot of people's days with his ornery self.   

We believe the world is better because he lived.  We know we are better people because of him.  We loved him dearly and will miss him all the days that are left to us.

Robert is survived by his wife, Barbara Dilli; his daughters, Shauna (Tony) Livers of Madison, Kansas and Haley (Jeff) Busch of Wichita, Kansas; 4 grandchildren, Braden and Kale Livers and Lauren and Lane Busch; his brother, Larry Dilli of Wichita, Kansas; his nephews, David (Kris) Dilli and Brian Dilli of Cherryvale, Kansas; and his niece, Jeana of Wichita, Kansas.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life with the family will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service with friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in the Parish Center, 149 S. Millwood, Wichita, Kansas 67213. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Anthem Memory Care of Wichita, "Chisholm Place", 1859 N. Webb Road, Wichita,  Arrangements have been entrusted to Wulf-Ast Mortuary of Garden Plain, Kansas.

Due to the current pandemic,  restrictions will be in place.  Masks and social distancing are required.  A live streaming of the services will be available for those that are not able to attend.
