CDC Downgrades COVID Deaths In US From 153,000 to 9,210

Yea, Table 3 is the one to look at.

Tables 1 and 2 show the updated 'all deaths involving COVID' now at ~164,000 this evening. That is different than 'deaths from', as reflected in Table 3. The paragraph above Table 3 says; "For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death." So only 6% of 164,000 Americans have died directly from COVID. And that percentage may change as more deaths are reported. 

As of this evening only 9,840 Americans have died directly from COVID. All the other reported deaths are associated with people that have an average of two and a half other comorbidities, or pre-exisitng illnesses. Draw your own conclusions. Mine is this flu is not very deadly. And yes, many older Americans are not very healthy.
