Andrew Joel Jones (Slorf) of Harrison, Arkansas, passed away from Cirrhosis on August 3, 2020 surrounded by family.  He was born in Longmont, Colorado on September 29, 1972.

Andrew graduated from West Elk High School in Howard, Kansas in 1990 and continued to Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.  He was a talented musician, singer, and songwriter.  He enjoyed performing for family and friends and on stage.  He had a great sense of humor and liked to make others laugh.  He was also very caring and loved to cook. 

Andrew's  love for his family and friends was strong.  He loved to spend summers in Harrison camping, fishing, and boating with his great-uncle and aunt, J.V. and Ollie Jones.  He worked in the Branson, Missouri area for many years in sales.  His gregarious personality enabled him to make everyone feel they were special.

Andrew is survived by his children, Kaden and Kaley Jones of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his parents, Paul and Rebeka Eck of Elk Falls, Kansas; his siblings, Allison Slorf of Greeley, Colorado, Rob and Kim Bartelli of Parsons, Kansas, and Kerry and Heidi Eck of Ocala, Florida; nieces, Fiona Bartelli and Madeline Eck; nephew, Connor Eck; and many other family members and friends.  He is preceded in death by his father Tim Slorf; his grandfather, Buck Collins; his grandmother, Allison Collins; his uncle, John Collins; his aunt, Robin Collins; and his great-uncle and aunt, J.V. and Ollie Jones.

The family will have a private memorial service at the Elk Falls Cemetery in Elk Falls, Kansas at a later date.
