Michelle Raylene "Micki" Lewis, age 57, of Longton, Kansas, passed away on June 7, 2020 at the Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice Center in Wichita, Kansas.  She was born April 26, 1963 in Winfield, Kansas to Billy and Darlene (Sutton) Morgan.

Micki attended Burden High School in Burden, Kansas, graduating in 1981.  She then attended Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, Kansas before returning home.  On February 25, 1989, she married the love of her life, Major Kenneth Lewis, Jr.  The couple traveled all over the world together starting at Altus, AFB, Oklahoma followed by Mountain Home AFB, Idaho, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma, Pang AFB, Oregon, Travis AFB, California, MacDill AFB, Florida; Lackland AFB, Texas, the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and Warner Robins AFB, Georgia before moving back to Longton, Kansas.

Micki enjoyed organizing events wherever they were stationed to bring people together and make them happy.  She continued this afterward at their home in Kansas.  She always kept busy and enjoyed being a member of the Mulvane American Legion Auxiliary, head of the Officers Wives Club, and a member of the Cambridge Presbyterian Church in Cambridge, Kansas.  Micki ran a tight ship during Ken's eleven deployments and loved raising their family.

Micky is survived by her husband, Ken; her daughter, Britny (Josh) Arnett; sons, Zack (Kelsey) Lewis and Zane Lewis; granddaughter, Amelia Arnett; mother, Darlene Krug; brothers, Billy Morgan, Ed Morgan, and Randy Fox; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Morgan.

A small memorial service for close friends and family will be held at the Presbyterian Church in Cambridge, Kansas on Friday, June 12, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. with a meal to follow.  A larger Celebration of Life for Micki is in the works for a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Folds of Honor.  Contributions may be left in care of Shelley Family Funeral Home, 803 Loomis, Street, Winfield, Kansas 67156.
