Lena Marie Ouellet, age 67, passed away May 17, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.  She was born on November 1, 1952 in Muscatine, Iowa to Frank and Dorothy (Corle) Hey.

Lena was joined in marriage to Jeannot Ouellet in 1970.  They later divorced.  She worked a variety of jobs throughout the years but spent the majority of her career in the helping profession, primarily in the field of developmental disabilities.  She is known for her caring nature and wonderful sense of humor.  She was a devoted mother, aunt, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Lena is survived by her son, Mario (Krystle) Ouellet of Wichita, Kansas; her daughter, Angela (Chad) Allen of Moline, Kansas; granddaughters, Madason Ouellet and Jadyn Allen; her sisters, Linda High and Pearl Williams, both of Moline, Kansas; and her brother, Merle Hey of Moline, Kansas.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Ethel Simpson, Beatrice Harrison, Frank Hey, William Hey, and Wanda Hey.

Lena is loved and will be missed by many.  Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date.  Wickham Family Funeral Home of Cherryvale, Kansas is in charge of arrangements.
