Fay Ann Duranleau, age 85, of Moline, Kansas, passed away peacefully at home with family by her side on May 15, 2020.  She was born on December 30, 1934 in Lafayette, New Jersey to Eleanor and Jack Owens.

Fay married the love of her life, Paul Duranleau, on June 6, 1957, and they were blessed to have 64 years of love, life, and laughter together.  She was the proud mother of six children, grandmother of twelve, great-grandmother of 23, and she had a boundless source of energy.  She had the innate gift to make each person feel as if they were the light of her life.  Her gift of love was all encompassing, not only to her family but to friends and extended family as well.

Fay was an active member in the Altar Society of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Moline, Kansas, the Southern Belles, and the Music/Literary group.  She worked as secretary/treasurer for Anthony Building and Remodeling, the family construction business, prior to her move to Moline where she and her husband, Paul, own and operate the Flying D. Ranch.

Fay is survived by her husband, Paul Duranleau; sons, David (Abby) Duranleau of Greenbrier, New Jersey and Michael (Marilyn) Duranleau of Lowell, Vermont; daughters, Helen Brennan of Davenport, Iowa, Faylene (Brian) Ahlers of Wichita, Kansas, Simonne Duranleau of Davenport, Iowa, and Regina Duranleau of Augusta, Kansas; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Countryside Funeral Home in Howard, Kansas.  Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Moline, Kansas.  Services will follow at 10:00 a.m. at the church.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church and can be left with or mailed to Countryside Funeral Home 206 E. Washington, Howard, Kansas 67349 which is in charge of arrangements.
