Please Governor, Resign

[Wake-up!]

As experts begin backtracking on initial claims of CV-19 mortality rates, we see the comedy of errors out of governments world-wide as they have over-reacted to the proclaimed pandemic.

And now we have late-to-the-game Governor Kelly issuing a proclamation to shut down Kansas, just as numbers are beginning to show the folly of initial fears. She has needlessly ordered the shutdown of businesses that may never recover.

Her agenda cannot be about the people of Kansas and our safety from CV-19, as her outer dialog would suggest. It is a pretext for her inner dialog, the one the public is never privy to. I do not know this for a fact, and I'm not going to spend the time researching it, but I will wager a State that is on lockdown is in line to receive a bigger piece of the federal government pandemic-money. And that money is her agenda.

She has issued Executive Order 20-16, ordering us to stay home because her 'experts' predict Kansas COULD have 900 confirmed cases over the next week or so. Kansas has a population of 2,910,357. She is shutting us down over a threat to 0.031 percent of the population. SERIOUSLY?

She differentiates between non-essential businesses, and essential businesses that may remain open. She sees most small businesses as non-essential. Dear Governor, those businesses may not be essential to you (and that alone is shameful), but they are darn sure essential to the people that own them and work them. And that is the needed perception when defining essential.

Kelly needs to be voted out of office.

And I know the following.

The Governor's Executive Order did not circumvent nor suspend the Constitution for the United States. Article One of the Bill of Rights says the government cannot abridge the right of the people to peaceably assemble. Dear Governor, you do not have the authority to keep us from free assembly. Your Executive Order is, therefore, null and void.

'Our' Governor needs to be ignored, we should continue our normal daily actions as we best judge to do so. The County Sheriffs of every State are elected by County residents to serve County residents. They do not serve the Governors, as the 2nd Amendment revolt in Virginia has so clearly shown. Our sheriff needs to be on the side of free assembly.

We need to do more then vote her out next election, we need to recall Governor Kelly from office before the next Governor's election cycle. If she won't resign.
