Eva Marie Runyan, age 69, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away March 28, 2020 under the care of her loving family.  She was born June 28, 1950 in Winfield, Kansas,  the daughter of Merle and Thelma (Hostetter) Rhodes.

Eva graduated from Winfield High School in 1968 and attended Central Business College in Wichita, Kansas.  On June 18, 1971, she was united in marriage to Allen Runyan.  She worked for the City of Winfield for 33 years.  She loved to travel and cruise around the world.  She was a talented seamstress for her family and even made wedding dresses.

Eva is survived by her loving husband, Allen Runyan; her niece, Sheryl (Wade) Metz; her great-nephews, Anthony (Ashley) Metz and Clinton Metz; and her great-niece, Bethany Metz.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Linda.

Family graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at the Highland Cemetery in Winfield, Kansas.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2020 from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. at Oxford Funeral Service in Oxford, Kansas with the family receiving friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with the Oxford Christian Church and the Harry Hynes Hospice.  Contributions can be left with or mailed to the Oxford Funeral Home, P.O. Box 123, Oxford, Kansas 67119 which is in charge of arrangements.

Eva Runyan is survived by her husband, Allen Runyan, who graduated in 1968 from Moline High School in Moline, Kansas.
